 09/10/03:

My hosting service provider has a disk quota reporting problem, which makes it appear as if my site is using more disk space than it is. Until this is resolved, I must remove some of the images on the site, in order to keep the site up and running. I will replace the images as soon as this problem has been resolved.  -Tonight I installed a Pioneer DEH-P940MP and a Pacific Accessory PAC SWI-X steering wheel control interface in my Durango. The steering wheel control interface allows me to use the factory steering wheel radio buttons with the aftermarket stereo. See the stereo installation page for a step-by-step illustrated guide on how to install the steering wheel control interface.

 5/16/02:
 -I believe I saw the next generation Dodge Durango this morning on my way to work. It had body cladding (disguise) all over it, so I can't tell you much about what the tail and front styling was like. I can say that it seemed 3-4" taller than my 4x4 Durango, and the tailgate seemed to be swept forward less (and in a straigher line) than the current Durango. The tail lights appeared similar (I could only see them through the mesh on the cladding), but larger/taller than the current ones. The doors and mirrors looked very similar, and in fact it looked like it had the same door handles as the current Durango. The general lines on the side of it were more basic and less curvy then the Durango we know. The view I got of the interior was interesting. The HVAC vents were above the radio, and quite large. The instrument cluster was significantly larger (taller) than mine. The 'hump' that currently goes across the dash on the 2001+ Durangos, stops at the right side of the gauge cluster, instead of blending across the dash past the radio cluster. The steering wheel appeared larger and was a different style than the current one. I can't remember if it had the gear selector on the steering column or not (I couldn't see low enough inside of it to tell what the console area looked like).

 -The guestbook and search engine are now back online. I re-wrote some of the code in the search engine and it's search capabilities are now far better than they were before the crash. Now let's see some guestbook entries!

 -Apparently my web hosting company suffered some sort of crash over the weekend, and my entire site was lost. As a result, I had to re-upload my site from a local backup I had. This also makes it possible to bookmark any part of my site. This is how the page should have been done from the beginning, but I did not know how to code it. Please let me know if any page does not load correctly or if there are any broken links.
-Removed the page transition blending because it was causing problems with the transparent images with the new frame structures.

-Added some Java goodies to the site. The buttons on the left side now fade in and out, as do the ones in the Dodge section. All of the pages now 'blend' when you transition between them. The background images are now static, so they do not scroll with the rest of the text/images.

 -Changed the background images of the frames to some that are a little easier on the eyes.
-Added the 'lake' effect to the picture of my Durango in the Durango section.

-Re-organized the links a little bit to make them easier to get to. The About the Author section is now on the sidebar, as opposed to the main page. The Ham radio section is also now on the side bar.
