Power was noticeably improved after installing this combo. It also sounds much more like a V8. There's a bit of resonance inside the cabin between 1200-1500 RPM, but outside that range it sounds pretty much stock under light throttle. At cruising speeds on the highway, you wouldn't be able to tell it from the stock exhaust. Note: I had to remove the cross bar under the vehicle due to the X-Pipe contacting it. This was caused by the mid-pipes (Cats) being too low, and therefore lowering the X-Pipe. This is not necessarily a fault of the Billy Boat design.

    Coolant Gunk Issue
Here are some pictures of the coolant issue that some of the 6.1L engines have. This problem is due to a supply change in the coolant at the factory. The OEM installed coolant lacked some necessary additives, and the coolant began to break down. There is a RRT to fix this issue that your dealer should be aware of. The picture with gunk in the coolant reservoir is after Birmingham Chrysler (Troy, MI) made their best (pathetic) effort at fixing the issue. This picture was taken AFTER the dealer supposedly flushed the coolant and cleaned the bottle.

This picture is after the car was properly taken care of at Golling Chrysler (Bloomfield, MI). They flushed the system again (2 days after the Birmingham Chrysler visit) and replaced the coolant bottle.

    Painted Grille
I painted the gray parts of the grille black to better match the color of the vehicle.

    DC Strut Brace
This is a picture of the DC Sports Strut Brace installed on the SRT8. Turn in feel is slightly improved, and the chassis feels slightly stiffer when going over bumps.
